Barb is a 51-year-old retired homeschool mom of 4. Her love of fitness started in her 30s as she began running and participating in group fitness classes; kickboxing, yoga, dance, boot camp etc. Yoga became her primary focus after a running injury. She obtained her 200-hour Yoga Certification in Iyengar Yoga thru
Daphne Larkin at Sanctuary for Yoga in Green Hills. She is also certified to teach Restorative and currently working on a Yin Certification through Sanctuary for Yoga. She is also Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) certified to teach children.
What Barb Offers…
This class will teach you a few of the foundations of yoga; breath work, postures, and meditation.
We will start with stretching to warm up the body, alignment and modification cues to ensure proper form for all postures, the art of staying in the present and lastly a silent meditation where you learn to “just be.” Join us on this journey as we explore ourselves inside and out.
